Nevada County Christmas Tree Recycling Information
Waste Management is offering FREE Christmas tree recycling to Nevada County residents. Please make sure your tree is free of ALL garlands!
Christmas Tree collection sites:
* Alta Sierra Fire Department on Tammy Way - January 12th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
* Lake Wildwood Water Treatment Plant - January 12th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
* County Government Center (950 Maidu Avenue) - December 26th through January 31, 2008. Any time.
* There will be FREE curbside pickup of Christmas trees in the City of Grass Valley on January 12th, 2008. Trees over five feet long must be cut in half.
* McCourtney Road Transfer Station Green Waste Area – December 26 through January 31, 2008, everyday (except January 1) from 8:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m.
