January 27, 2012 - Placer Land Trust is hosting a screening of "The Last Crop" a film about one farm's effort to protect what they have built over 30 years of working the land and serving fresh, local, healthy food to their community.

Panel Discussion 8:30-9:00: consider how we can ensure that Placer County supports our existing farms and helps encourage a new generation of farmers and ranchers who will keep us all thriving.

Bryan Kaminsky, The Natural Trading Company
Bryan is a farmer in Newcastle. His farm purchase was made possible through an agricultural conservation easement.
Carol Arnold, Foothills Farmers Markets - invited

Kendra Johnson, One Farm at a Time
Kendra has long experience in farmland protection, inter-generational farm transfer and is now supporting an innovative regional effort to protect the land that feeds us.
