McClintock and Doolittle to Campaign Together, Brown Responds
Report: Scandal Ridden Doolittle Pledges Support To McClintock

By: Charlie Brown for Congress

Brown: "Instead of Solving Problems, Tom McClintock is campaigning alongside someone who epitomizes problem"

Roseville June 19, 2008 - Within the past 3 days, two separate news outlets have reported that Tom McClintock has sought, and will receive the support of FBI Corruption probe target and current CA 04 Rep. John Doolittle.

Both Politickerca.com; and Talking Points Memo (story links below) have reported that Doolittle and McClintock are actively planning a series of joint appearances for the upcoming fall campaign.

In response, Retired USAF Lt. Col. Charlie Brown issued the following statement:

"John Doolittle's support of Southern California politician Tom McClintock only shows who represents real change in this race, and who is offering more of the same out-of-touch partisan politics that has produced record deficits, record foreclosures, record gas prices, open borders, and strained our military to its breaking point. Our campaign is about bringing people of all stripes together to solve problems. Tom McClintock is traveling over 400 miles to campaign with someone who epitomizes the problem in Washington."

Charlie Brown spent 26 years in the U.S. Air Force, flying rescue helicopters at the end of the Vietnam War, piloting reconnaissance missions around the world, and coordinating a variety of intelligence collection assets. His decorations include the Distinguished Flying Cross, Sikorsky Winged S, 7 Air Medals, and 5 Meritorious Service Medals. Charlie's wife Jan is also a veteran, and his son has served four rotations in Iraq with the Air Force. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Brown also owns a Masters in Aviation Management from Embry Riddle University, and a California teaching credential. He served 8 years on the Professional Staff of the Roseville Police Department, and is a candidate for Congress in California's 4th District.
