Mar. 18, 2010 - What can you do to protect the health of your equestrian community? Horse activities, facilities and pasture businesses preserve and enhance the rural character and economic health of our communities. Loss of open land and trails are the greatest threat to the future of all equestrian sport, recreation, and industry. Once it is gone, we cannot get it back.
Join Nevada County Land Trust for an informative evening of discussion with people working hard to protect lands and places where you ride, drive, compete, race, raise foals, and grow hay. Find out how you can help the thriving local equestrian community through:
• Conservation easements for equestrian lands
• Trail access, connectivity and shared use
• Land and trail stewardship management practices
It is up to us to protect land for horse use. Join us and let's discover ways to work together to see that happen.
