DONNER SUMMIT, Calif. Feb. 26, 2010 - Sugar Bowl is teaming up with Boarding for Breast Cancer and The HERA Foundation for the third annual Jam for the Cure on March 7, 2010. The resort will be holding a rail jam in the Switching Yard Terrain Park, with all entry fees from the event going toward finding a cure for breast cancer and ovarian cancer. This year's sponsors include Paul Mitchell, Epitaph Records, Ride Snowboards and Protec Helmets. Sugar Bowl will also donate $2 per lift ticket from all participants. Adding awareness to the cause and contributing additional funds, pink season pass lanyards will also be on sale for four dollars.
Boarding For Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fund-raising foundation, whose mission is to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of an active lifestyle.
